The MS Trollfjord
has a winter theme with a modern design, featuring Norwegian wood and stone throughout the interior. Large windows have been installed throughout the ship to let the light and scenery into the public areas, and even the elevators are made out of glass. The works of Norwegian artists decorate the ship’s interior. The sauna and fitness area, as well as the small swimming pool and Jacuzzi, are located on the top deck, where passengers can enjoy the spectacular views from the large outdoor area or from the panoramic balcony. On deck 8 are numerous bars, panoramic areas, a library, and Internet café, and deck 5 houses two restaurants and several cafés. There are 23 suites, 5 with a balcony. The 674-passenger ship MS Trollfjord has 19 suites, most with bay windows and some with a balcony. The Trollfjord is a modern ship with Norwegian wood and stone throughout the interior. You will find art on board made by Norwegian artists. The architechts designed large windows to let the light and scenery into the public areas. Even the elevators are made out of glass to enhance nature. The sauna, the fitness area and the panoramic lounges on the top deck have spectacular views. The main dining room, several cafes and bistros are all places to enjoy food and refreshments. The ship also has a wonderful library.
M/S Trollfjord has a modern design, featuring Norwegian materials for most of the interior. It has large panorama and observation areas as well as cafés and bistros with plenty of light and wonderful views. The interior and works of art, all of which are Norwegian, complement each other perfectly. The ship's propulsion system will produce minimal noise and vibration, so that the ship will be extremely quiet.
The MS Trollfjord entered service in May 2002. She has accomodations for 670 passengers and she and her sister MS Finnmarken have 50% more deck space and 40% more berths than the New Ships. Suites are available, many with a balcony, and some with a Jacuzzi. In Coastal tradition these ships are floating art galleries that showcase Norwegian paintings, sculptures, and textiles.
