Falmouth is the capital of the Parish of Trelawny in Jamaica. It's full of history and sits 18 miles east of Montego Bay. With a population of approximately 5,000, this beautifully tranquil island once aided in Jamaica becoming the world's leading sugar producer.

Falmouth was meticulously planned from its start in 1769, with wide streets in a regular grid, adequate water supply, and public buildings. The city is noted for being one of the Caribbean's best-preserved towns, and a visit to Falmouth is like a walk through history: every house, every corner, and every street is filled with stories of Jamaica's rich past. While visiting Falmouth, check out St. Peter's Anglican Church (among the largest in Jamaica) or the town's original courthouse, which dates back to 1815. In Falmouth, you're also nearby Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, including the popular Dunn's River Falls.
